I own 9th+ Civic EX-L 2013. It was imported from US.

Recently I purchased new OEM front shock absorbers and noticed than new are longer than old. Is it really supposed to be or it is just a fake?

Part numbers: 51611-TR0-A23, 51621-TR0-A23

can you pull up on the old ones?
once the new ones have been cycled a fews times and the suspension has settled they will probably be ok

Sorry, but I pulled up the new ones. I highlighted the place, where is the difference in length.
Anyway, the welds of new are good, the Honda logo and engraving are inflicted.

i think you'll be ok, i think the old ones are just worn out
