2008 civic code PO128. We have changed both sensors, thermostat, refilled coolant and purged air. Cleared code, drove for a day and the following day the code reappeared. Temperature gauge fluctuates, heat works fine. Any ideas as to what to check next ?

Is the rad fan staying on constantly or more than it should? Once it reaches operating temp, it should cycle in and out periodically - if you're idling, maybe 30 seconds at a time.

If it's not that, you have a wiring issue somewhere.
