I was changing the hoses on my sons '08 Civic cold air intake and the plastic fitting broke off an engine part. I don't know what that part is called. A part name or number would be appreciated.
Or are you just telling me to go figure it out on my own?
The reason I came to this forum was to get a quick answer to a "Civic" question from people very familiar with Civics, unlike myself. I thought that was the entire purpose of a forum. It used to be.

Re: 2008 Civic Si part indentification help
I'm not familiar with the k series engines, but the link he posted will allow you to look at Honda's parts diagrams for the car and determine exactly what part you need, what Honda calls it, and the part number.
should take you all of 5 mins to find it
Before I came here for help, I already extensively Googled this issue, went through the Hondaparts diagrams that are so small and poorly done, I can't make any sense of them.
Tried to figure it out on my own.
That didn't work.
I'm not lazy, I've just spent too much time looking for an answer and coming up blank.
If you don't know the answer, that's fine. Ignore my post and move on.
