Whining noise from engine at speed
Whining noise from engine at speed
Hi guys
So I have a Honda Crossroad from 2008 which has the Civic 1.8 engine in it (I am based out of Singapore).
The engine's been making a whining noise, almost like an airplane engine (I'm attaching a video) at speed when the accelerator is pressed. The whine comes on around 2000 RPM. And when I take the foot off the accelerator, the whine stops. Would anybody know what's going on? The mechanic has confirmed that it's not speaker noise or transmission noise. He's also ruled out wheel bearings.
Thanks very much in advance!
