2009 Civic Engine shut down while driving
Hi, so I have a 2009 Civic lx that has been working well with regular maintenance, but a couple weeks back the engine shut down with no warning while in stop and go morning traffic. When it happened the Oil and Battery light both came on, the radio and dash lights all stayed on, just the engine shut down. I was able to put the car into park and then start it again with ignition. I changed lanes so that I could get off the highway if needed and a few minutes later it died again with the same symptoms, both oil and battery lights come on, engine dies, all the dash lights and radio remain on. I was able to restart the engine and got off the road at the next exit. I was on my way back from getting an oil service at Jiffy Lube so I turned around to have them check it out. They said they couldn’t see anything wrong and sent me on my way. At home, my dad replaced the spark plugs and the air vent. We’ve been test driving it but I am petrified. The car has 123,600 miles.

You checked your oil level right? They may not have added.
Also check the intake, on some vehicles in order to check the air filter, sensors need to be unplugged.
Sensors can also be broken while trying to get the air filter out.
