Here’s the situation, when I was on the road. I had the decision to make about passing a big truck or else I’d be late for work. So I gassed the car and pushed it. When I did so. The RPM’s got redline, but when going back down and coming back up from switching gears. The car suddenly died, and the check engine light came on. After pressing the gas a little to see if anything would happen. The car gave out a weak response. I pulled over started the car again and not a single problem. So curious me I needed to see what happened. Now I know the car won’t get passed 5k RPM’s. What could be the problem? Also recently just switched out to a new engine. I have a 2006 Honda Civic coupe EX 100k miles on it.
