this started maybe a week or so ago, but regardless if i'm revving in neutral, upshifting, downshifting, coasting, accelerating, right around 3000-3200rpm, it sounds like the motor becomes slightly more resonant and a tad bit louder. ONLY within that range though, its fine otherwise.

the only time i ever recall this happening was with my accord the first and last time it was well past due for an oil change (i mean... WELL past due); accelerating through a turn (usually 2nd gear) and the motor would make this rattle sound. it was bad.
but i got an oil change on the civic not even a month ago, and checked it at my last fill up a few days ago. its fine. i can't think of anything that's broken... i've taken care of it, so i have no idea what it could be.

any ideas? i'll try to get a video or some audio for reference later on today.

Engine mounts maybe? If they have never been changed they probably are worn out. What year car? My son has a 2002 LX and we just changed all 4 mounts; 2 were completely broken and the other 2 were severely cracked and worn out.

darn i thought i had it in my signature! gonna fix that

anyway, its a 2008. i've had it for 6 months (purchased)? AFAIK i'm owner #2. the motor mounts were replaced 05/2013 at a honda dealership here in CT according to carfax *shrug*
