I wanna turbo my z7 in the future but I want to know what I’m getting so I can daily it and make it reliable. It’s got over 130,000 miles on it but has been kept in pretty good shape. I’ve been seeing people using sidewinder kits, and prl turbos which I’ve heard are extinct now. I was thinking garret but holy moly are they expensive. I just want something fairly priced but I can make good boost out of kit and turbo.

Turbo kits aren't cheap. Supercharger kits might be slightly cheaper. Either way, expect it to cost $4k+ unless you really cheap out.

I think MAKSpeed was a popular one (had a TSX which basically had the same engine). Only issue you'll run into is that the K24Z head designs were so restrictive that they don't really make much reliable power.
