Hey, I’ve had my civic for awhile and have just recently been looking into doing my own modifications to it; more hp, better torque, better handling/braking etc… I’m just not sure where to start and am looking for suggestions.

My answer will greatly depend on whether you have a manual transmission or not.

Ultimately, I think you’d be better off just getting a different car regardless. The engines don’t take terribly well to modification (unless you boost which is expensive) and they’re isn’t as much aftermarket as other Honda’s.

If it’s not an Si I’d focus on handling and braking.

*light weight wheels
*sway bars
*upgraded pads
