hey i have a black civic and the sunroof came with a factory tint, and when i look at the top of the car it all looks the same, like it's got a coat on the sunroof to match the car's paint reflection. is there a way to get that exact tint on the other windows? i haven't seen another car with the tint the same, it never matches the rest of the black car. any word?

the sunroof tint might be too dark. it would be illegal if the same % tint was used on the other windows. i think the lowest % in cali is 13, but im not sure. i have a 13% tint, but my car is silver

dang. i love texas. ive got 5% everywhere but driver/passenger windows where i have 30%

i have 30% on my black coupe and it looks dark form the outside, about as dark as the moonroof does and you can still see through it at night from the inside, just like the moonroof.

but do you guys with the black civics notice the coat on the tint of the moonroof how it looks just like the paint on top? if you look at it from an angle it all looks the same ( the top of the sunroof and car), i want that same reflection on the other windows. do i need a special clear coat on the tint or just get 20% all around? excluding the windsheild ofcourse.

The sunroof only has 20% tint, no clear coat or nothing. Its just a black tint...I have it on my silver civic except 35% on the windows (sunroof is stock tinted)
