so today i followed da DIY about 'how to take off the emblems' from my car's rear..
yanking them out are pretty easy.. also da "rubbing remaining tapes" process..
the only problem is.. after i rubbed da remaining tapes off with Goo Off..
that area tends to leave a mark or something..
when you look closely now..
it got many little scratches..
and if you look far away (without reflection from da sun)..
you will see that area is kinda white..
my question is..
did the Goo-Off damaged my paint?
also.. if i polish+wax it.. will it return to normal good looking?
sorry about my long ugly english..
and plz reply with some advices..
THANKS BUNCH~!

Rep Power: 0 I think Goo-Gone works a little better, the Goof Off is a paint remover and may have damaged your clear coat. Try a polish (not a wax) to restore some of the damaged area then go over it with a couple coats of wax when you're happy with the results.

Rep Power: 310 once your clear coat is damaged... hmm.. u have that dull spot. I had that problem once, but after much polishing and waxing, you won't notice it over time.
If you have scratches, then you must have gone about the shaving emblems all wrong.

Rep Power: 0 I think that you damaged your clearcoat. I never used goof-off to remove emblems, but one time I got superglue on the back end of my trunk and I thought that if I used nail polish remover and rubbed it on lightly, that nothing would happen to my clearcoat. Unfortunately, I was wrong and I removed an area of clearcoat.
