Hey everyone, I currently have Zaino polish and Nu Finish polish. I am fixing to go to college and I need a polish that will make my car look good, but more importantly, protect it for a long time. I also need one that won't scratch extremely easy when applied to my blue civic. Which one of these would be my best bet?

It'll depend on a few more factors than the ones you listed. IMO, since Nu Finish is a poly-sealant with pretty strong cleaners/abrasives & petrolum distillates, I would use it if you're car needed some prep work (i.e. isn't already in showroom condition) and you're looking for a quick one-step product.
Zaino is a low solvent, non-abrasive product and will require a bit more work than NuFinish....but not anymore than any other high quality, non-abrasive wax or sealant.
Both are pretty durable and will provide good protection for your car.
One thing I hate about NF is the way it stains your trim. Zaino, on the other hand is very trim friendly and wipes right off.

These two products are on opposite ends of the spectrum when it comes to durability.
Zymol which is sold locally (pep boy, costco) is a wax....and a major PITA to use and has very poor durability....but it does leave a very nice shine.
This OTC Zymol product (which is actually being distributed by Turtle Wax) is a very small part of the entire Zymol line. Zymol has many other waxes ranging from $35 a jar to thousands a jar. These waxes are used by true detailing enthusiasts who enter their vintage cars into concourse events (no, not import nights). We're talking cars whose paint jobs run well into the $20 to $50 thousand range and pretty much never get driven or see sunlight (except, of course when competing). In other words, durability isn't important to these folks. They only need the nice deep, shine with a high jetting factor for a few days during the competition.
ZAINO on the other hand, is a very durable wax which leaves a mirror-like reflective shine (as opposed to Zymol which leaves a softer, warmer shine) and can only be bought directly from Sal himself via mail order...or it can be purchased online or over the phone via his network of nationwide distributors. E-mail sal for a list of distributors in your area. Don't know his address offhand, but you can get it at www.zainobros.com.
Don't get me wrong though.... A lot of ppl who do well at concourse events use Zaino on their cars as well..... just not quite at the "high" level that Zymol users compete at. It's a matter of preference as to the kind of shine you like.
BTW, NuFinish will not outlast Zaino... It's been 5 months since applying Zaino to my wife's black bimmer and it still beads water like crazy, is very slick and reflective. On my Civic, I had a few coats on for 8 months and was still going strong. It would have lasted longer except I was itching to try out a new product. I've done side-by-side tests with countless products and Zaino has always been the most durable. NuFinish on the other hand, lasted about 4 months tops for me (not bad for an OTC product).
This is not to say that Zaino doesn't have any downsides...... In fact, I'm starting to phase it out of my detailing regimen because I'm getting tired of it's "mirror-like" shine. It also has a tendency to "high-light" swirl-marks and is a bit of a restrictive process when it comes to prepping your paint for Zaino.
