ok i dont know if you guys see this stuff on darker colored cars, but i sure see it on my white car, and some silver cars too. i'm trying to remove these blotches from my paint. they seem to come out of no where from time to time. it looks like rust, but it isnt. it has the same color as rust, but its not on the paint itself, but on the clearcoat. these blotches appear as little specks, and i can scratch them off with my finger nails. does anyone know what this stuff is and where its from and any cleaners i can use to get it off?? do you park your car near or under any trees?? if you have pine needles dropping on your car and sitting on it over night the dew causes them to leave little spots on youcar. i used to have a white cae with the same problem. just thought it may be the same thing happening to you.

Well at first I was thinking of road tar but road tar is black. I think clay bar should take care of it.
