Rep Power: 302 I don't know about doing it step by step but I'll attempt...
Buy a wheel brush, some towels, and meguiars wheel cleaner.
Spray the hell out of the rim.
Let it soak for about 10-15 min.
Blast with water.
Spray again.
Scrub-a-dub-dub with the brush.
Blast again.
Towel wipe the entire rim removing any smears and drying it off.
Compliment the rim with Turtle Wax Tire Shine 2000. (Bright green bottle).
This looked so good on my BBS rims I had on my Eclipse. Good luck.

Rep Power: 363 I don't know about that long-*** process.
All I do is spray Simple green on, let it sit long enuf to spray each wheel. By the time you reach the last wheel, it should have set long enuf on the 1st so you can then rinse in the same manner.
If your wheels have crevices (like mine do) take a rag or cloth and wipe them down. (If your **** like me, use Q-tips).
Rinse, dry (wipe down) done.

Rep Power: 372 I would wash them with a rag that I only use for wheels and tires.
1. Spray the wheel with water to cool the wheel down. Never spray cleaner on a dry rim..you can stain the rim.
2. Spray Simple Green mixed with water according to the directions on the back of the bottle.
3. Dip wheel sponge or rag into a soapy bucket of water...and then apply rag to wheel and tires, cleaning well.
4. Hose of wheels and tires.
5. Dump soap and water that you used to clean wheels and tires. Do not use the same soap and water to wash the car that you used to clean the wheels and tires.
6. After you wash and dry the car....Wipe the rest of the wheel off with a seperate towel then the one you use on the paint of the car.
7. Finish up with waxing the wheels for protection.
