The first step is cleaning the paint and getting rid of any contaminants. Then, the second step polishes the paint. It helps to fill in minor scratches and swirl marks. The polish is what really makes the car shine. It also nourishes the paint or something but I am not that into it. Lastly, a layer of wax is applied to PROTECT the renewed surface.

Yes they are all sold seperatley. You can also get them from their website....In a package deal but it will probably be more expensive that way.
I have the 3 step, it's pretty nice...Not even close to show quality wax though!!!
It's a bit time consuming as well...It comes in 3 seperate bottles (the paint cleaner comes in handy and I have probably used it more than the polish or the wax)...Next time (spring) I want to give my car a good wax I'm going to buy something better...

it picks up alot of contaminats off your paint. you can get it at autozone/parts america. you spray the lub stuff on a little bit at a time and run the clay bar over it. (do not drop clay bar on ground) repeat lubing the car and clay baring the entire car. ( dont drop the clay bar on the ground) then finish detailing your car make sure to wax your car after your clay bar. the clay bar will strip your wax as well.
Did i mention (dont drop the clay bar on the ground) if you do throw it away and go spend another $14 on a new clay bar kit.

something does not add up here.
people say wash often and use 3 step often. But 1st step of the 3 step is using wax cleaner and I hear "civicdude" say DON't WAX CLEANER too often.
so can we just use gold class(1 step) often?
and can we clay often??
