Rep Power: 0 Don't want scratch to rust, help....
Okies.. so I after cleaning my car, I find a scatch about 10cm at the bottom of my rear bumper. Pretty deep cut (1mm) and about 10cm long. I was wondering what I should do to fix it.
1) Should I take it in to get it detailed?
2) Or should I just buy the touch up paint?
2a) If I buy the touch up paint should I go with the spray, or pen?
2b) Do I have to sand it down then reapply everything?
3) Will doing the touch up paint pervent rust?
Thanks for all your help

Rep Power: 0 well you could just put touch up paint there, then some clear coat for the cheap way. personally id take it to a body shop or dent shop and have them fix it for a few bucks.

Rep Power: 0 Yeah, that would most likely be the best way, to bring it to a body shop and they may have to repaint the whole bumper but it would look better than touch up paint. If you ask the shop they may be doing a car of the same color in the near future and could possibly paint it at the same time.
