I hope someone can help me out?

I was planning on doing the whole step thing to my car (clay bar, paint cleaner, #6 swirl remover, polish, wax) and i noticed that my chrome rims have little swirl marks in the clear coat and i was wondering if i could do the same process that i would do on my paint? Or would that be a bad idea? If thats not good what should i use to get rid of the scratches?

Are they really chrome or are they polished? The chrome plating is a very hard plating and usually does not "swirl" that easily. But if it does have swirl marks then yes you could do the same to the rims as you do to you paint with wax and so on....................

You could try it on a small spot first to test it, but I think it would work for you. Just don't use anything too powerful for a scratch remover.
