Rep Power: 372 Who brings their car to the car wash??
I need to know if I can bring my car to the car wash with my XENON front Bumper, and my RIms that I have on my car. I have 17's with a Polished Lip, that is on the outside of the tire. Will this stop me from bringing my car to the car wash? Is there anyone that takes their car to an automated car wash during the winter??
Let me know...

Rep Power: 424 Usually the car-wash places that run the cars through the wash also have 'hand-washing' available...Costs a little more, but worth it so you wouldn't have to worry about the kit-n-rims etc...
I know that they do this for the lifted trucks and exotics...
You could do just as good, if not better than they could though 'Mr. Clean'

Rep Power: 0 I have brought my car to a car wash for a year now, have never had a problem. After I lowered it though, they have to put it on a wood piece to get it over the front part. Probably when I get new wheels ill probably have them hand wash it or just take the time on the weekend to do it myself (im one lazy bastard when it comes to doing work stuff )

Rep Power: 0 I took mine through an automated touch-free wash a coupe times, but those metal tube rails on either side of the car are too close to the rims in my opion. It would be way too easy to hit those. And if ya do take it to a car wash, make sure it's not one of those ones with the cloth or plastic brushes that scrub the car. Too easy to damage the clearcoat.

Rep Power: 0 I take mine to the car wash out of laziness...but you have to watch with some car washes...the track that the car sits on that pulls it thru the wash could severely damage your underbody if the car is lowered...just ask my bud with his lowered '00 Nisan Altima...he'll tell ya what it does to your underbody....

Rep Power: 340 I would assume that they have these nationally, but there are places around here that you pay a few dollars and wash it yourself. Thats the only thing I would even think about doing that was other than my own hands. I don't trust those people with my car.

Rep Power: 0 i would not take my car to the automatic car wash ever again. I don't like that spinning brush thing. Last time it hit my front bummper and some of the paint actually cracked. I have a body kit too and it is lowered. I used to do those automatic car wash that i get when i pumped gas, but i guess i have to do it by hand now.

Rep Power: 0 I brought mine to Mike's CarWash everyweek (when it snows.. to get rid of the roadsalt).. not to mention my car came out like new after the works wash (wash+wax+clear coat+wheel brightener).
I wonder when can I wash my own car... its still soo cold here in Indianapolis.

Rep Power: 0 You're just asking for trouble running it through with that Xenon front on. All it takes is one spinning cloth thing at the wrong spot, and you could be driving home with what's left of that xenon front in your trunk.
