personally i like the turtle wax bug and tar remover wipes, they come ready to dispense, saves me time and easy to do. about a dollar or two less is goo-gone, which is just as good.

I like to use the Prestone bug remover in a spray can, it foams after you spray it on and works well too.

and two applications and bugs came right off, compared with blue gel stuff I tried before and didn't do a damn thing

and it claims it doesn't strip wax

Agreed -- its only horrible for your paint if you don't wipe it off...

One other thing I found to work well is this Amway product that is a bug and tar remover. What really impressed me is that it also works great at cleaning (and I mean, really cleaning) the sidewalls of tires. I dunno about you guys but when I've used tire gel in the past, you can never wash it all off, and the tires always have this dirt stuck to them. I tried this stuff called BlecheWhite for cleaning whitewalls, and it was ok. The Amway stuff actually makes a real difference... I know off topic, but hey its a product that does 2 things in 1 can..
