Removing Strip from Sides
I have a Titanium 2002 Civic and want to remove the strips that run through both sides of it... THey're black and theres two small ones in each side... they're the ones that run horizontally from taillight to ur headlights. I've noticed that they seem like stickers or sumthing of the sort since their edges are raised
Anyone know how I should go about doing this without damaging my car?

Its just a sticker. So peel up one end of it, and pull. Then wash your car and wax it. I'm removing mine when I get my spoiler which should be in a few months here, so if you're really worried about it I'll update. Its like shaving your emblems, but easier. BTW - the 'strip' is called a pinstripe.

Thanx for the info! I'll prolly get mine removed before then so I'll let you kno if I run into any problems!

if you have an extension cord, I recommend you take a hair dryer or heat gun and heat up the strips as you pull them off. that way you won't have any sticky residue left behind. also makes it easier to pull off. if you do encounter residue, just use wd-40 to wipe it off and wax the area afterwards.

Sound's good, I'll make sure and do that cuz I've spent a lotta time getting sticker residue out of old car windows!
You say WD-40 as in the oil? I didn't know that was safe to use on paint, thought it might stain or sumthin... but I've never tried it so I wouldnt' know... I just wanna make sure it's not some other thing and I end up using oil where I shouldnt!
Thanx for the ideas!
