Remove stick-on antenna
Don't know what I was thinking, hoping one of them anti-static antennas will actually work. Of course, it doesn't do jack, and it's crooked coz my GF didn't align it with her sight properly when I had her check "IS IT STRAIGH?".
I want to take it off now, but it's stickered on the car. How can I ensure I don't damange the paint/wax while taking it off? Same thing as taking off emblems, or would you think these tapes would be more stubborn?
Should I try to pry in through the tape and then hope there's enough clearance for the screwdriver to not scratch the clear coat? Or are there solutions to dissolve glue but not wax?

My guess is that they would be harder to get off than normal stickers, since those things really need to be on there...but maybe try a hair dryer, and heat it up....it's worth a shot, that may loosen the glue. I mean, if I use a hot air dryer to melt the glue for the blades to fix my hockey sticks, it should work for that...

I felt adventurous yesterday, went out and just yanked (with right force, of course!). Yup, sometimes brute force works.
Anyway, so glad, Japanese quality, the tape was a special kind, not like those crappy shedding crumpling tapes from 3M, they stuck together, so I got 80% of it off just carefully peeling. The rest were a bit stubborn which was no match for 10~15 applications of "Goo-Gone" equivalent to Goofoff I suppose.
Miss the antenna look, maybe I'll put a new one (had one sitting around) on right and aligned this time... Or just sell it. Haha...
