quick question...

I wen to meguiars website and did paint Rx thing.
It didn't recommend the 3 step crystal system.
instead it recommended i do this:
Wash: gold glass wash
surface prep: scratch x
polish: deep crystal system polish
protect: gold class clear coat wax

here's my question: If I want to incorporate a clay bar into this system, when do I use it? can I do it in place of the scratch x ?

Thanks.

civicdude will become famous soon enough
I wouldnt use Scratch X....Unless you have alot of little scratches. The glaze will remove that too, if you rub it in good. Make sure to rub it on and wipe it off uing a back and forth motion. Here do this:
Wash
Clay
Meguires #7 Glaze
Gliptone Creme Wax, Mothers Yellow wax, Kit Yellow Wax, or Meguires Gold.

Make sure when you glaze your car that you leave it on for 30 to 45 minutes to let the oil in the glaze penetrate the paint....Your car looks nice by the way.
