I have a 2001 LX, and it came with black pin stripes. I have been looking at other people's cars and haven't seen pin stripes on them. Are you guys removing them, or do some cars come with them and others don't? I removed them from one side and think it looks better without them, although I spent awhile scrubbing the sticky part off. If anyone has removed pin stripes, is there an easier way to get the left over residue off?

Most dealerships put the pin stripes on there as soon as the car's roll off the truck. I had mine taken off as a condition of my buying the car. Since you are taking yours off now, I'd use bug and tar remover to get the goo off and then wash and wax your car as the bug and tar remover will strip the wax off. Moving to Detailing......

I used 3M adhesive remover and it worked great. You can pick it up at TrackAuto.
