bird blood - bad for paint?

yesterday i was driving and this bird with less brain power than a rock flew out of the way of my car and then right back in front of me and got stuck in my upper grill. i didnt know it was there until about a half hour later and then i got it out, but there was still a little bit of blood and some feathers stuck there and i didnt have anything to get them off with at the time. some or maybe even all of it might have come off last night in the rain, but if not, is it going to hurt anything?

no, blood is not acidic, your paint will be fine.

the only thing to worry about would be scratches otherwise take a hose and wash it down then wash it with car soap and water, if you want put a layer of wax there, should be no real problem

I personally use chicken blood to wax my car, so you should be OK.

My Honda dealership actually reccomends a monthly coat of bird's blood to keep the paint from cracking. They also said to fill the gas tank with Eye of Newt.
