Windex product on the body?

Sometimes when I'm a hurry I leave water spots on my black civic. I clean these off by using rain-x on the spots to whip them off. Is using this bad for its paint?

I would not use rain x or windex on your paint. That strips the wax and if there isnt wax will strip the paint surface making it ver dull. Invest in a bottle of quick detail.

rain-x is not meant to be used on your car's body. This could cause problems such as fading your paint or drying out the areas surface. Get a bottle of quick detailer for it. This should work, I personally like the mothers cause the meguires left a little bit of hazing.

Doesn't windex eat away @ the paint? I know it ate away my wax when I oversprayed on to the paint. Use the meguirs quick detailing spray instead.
