black magic

i got this liquid wax stuff, my friend had lots left over so i decided to use it, looks great when i put it on but, yesterday, it rained and today i go and see water spots on the trunk lid, roof, and hood, not much the sides. before that, i had washed the car using nxt car wash solution. anything to prevent, this. i applied the wax according to the instructions as well.
