quick question about detailing

Under the gas cap there is a small hole.. i'm assuming that it DOES NOT go into the gas tank so its safe to to just spray water into the gas cap door? (with the gas cap on of course) Thanks.

Haven't noticed the hole myself, but haven't looked either. I would imagine it is to allow for drainage when rainwater gets in. Not for sure though, will look later and repost!

yeah, if you leave the gas cap on, you should be alright.

I always thought that was for extra gas... but I guess drainage for water too...
