Rep Power: 0 must detail car
ok guys i just need to vent a bit... last time i fully washed/detailed/waxed my car was october. i always wash my car by hand and hate taking it to the car wash. its been so cold and sooooo much snow/ice/salt lately. i can't stand looking at the poor thing. whenever i take it to the car wash they never fully wash it and i can't stand the damn swirl marks!!! OMFG i can't wait until it reaches at least 50-60 degress so i can dedicate a day and fully detail my baby with a few coats of wax, totally wash the whole interior, clean the engine. damn i miss those warm summer evenings when i cruise down the street cranking some beats and everybody stares because its so shiny and fresh. ahhhhhhhhhh its eating me aliiiive, damn you winter!

Rep Power: 0 Yo Dude you can wash your car even in winter but you can't detail. I just finished detailing my car yesterday and it took me 4 hours to get everything done from inside and out. Washed, Polished, Waxed and cleaned my interior.
I'm using a good quality polish & wax so it lasts really long maybe about 5-6 months. (Autoglym)

Rep Power: 0 I detailed mine last Saturday, 42 degrees, the water was cold as hell. But after 4.5 hours, it was all sparkly and beautiful. It also helps that after the wash I can pull it into my garage.

Rep Power: 290 You peps hafta understand that NY state uses half of all salt produced to put on the roads during winter! 2 weeks after a snow the roads are still white and become saltwater with any rain. Your wash and detail is gone in like one or two days.
I too am ready for warm weather!
