Cleaning cloth seats
what products do guys use to clean your cloth seats?? I'm just wondering, cause I have not used any so far, and I want to see what others are using.
Please don't post products you would not recommend.
Thanks, Phu.

I use that lint roller thing on my corbeaus. Might even use duct tape to get all the specs and dirt off. Mine don't really get dirty, just have alot of fuzz, crumbs, or stuff on em.

my seats use to get FILTHY from work.. id go at them with a damp washcloth.. then a nailbrush with some water.. then the wash cloth again... then a lil bit of carpet cleaner on the nail brush... then do the whole wet washcloth thing a few more times to get all the carpet cleaner out...
i got sick of cleaning them so i dished out $80 on ebay (peinvest sells some nice ones that fit our car great)... yeah sure they are seatcovers.. they look like seatcovers that fit good.. but whatever they are a hell of a lot easyer to clean than seats..

I just purchased one of those velvet lint brushes (at Walmart) and it works really well for removing all the lint that shows up on my dark interior. I like it better than the rollers because you don't ever have to purchase refills.
I also recommend the scotchguard protectant, that stuff works really well!

if yer problem is lint/hair/whatever.. just use that clear packing tape stuff.. one $2 roll will do yer whole car (seats, floor, trunk) like 3 times..

The best way to get the stains and everything is a carpet cleaner. My mom has a carpet cleaner with hose extensions. I use a oxyclean and water mix. Very little oxyclean. I use it every 6 or 7 months, and my carpet looks brand spankin new. I F'ed up her carpet cleaner though. I had it in the rocks outside, and was using it with the setting on hose. But apparently not just the hose is going. It sucked rocks into it. I had about 2 feet left of the backseat carpet to do, and broke it. Ill have to buy another one soon. Only the hose broke though. Maybe I can take it apart and fix it. Ill try to remember to take pics of how well it worked.
Ask around for people with a carpet cleaner.

FYI If you can't borrow a carpet cleaner, just lightly wet the seats and use a wet/dry shop vac, works great!
