Painting interior
I was looking at painting a few of the pieces on the interior and could not figure out how to get the pieces off. The main part is the piece around the door handle and the other is the piece around the tweeters on the door. I have an 02 ex any help is appreciated

the tweeter is on on the mirror cover piece right?
anyway.. i think thats where i remember it being... if not.. ignore this
open the door.. grab hold of the top tip and pull.. it pops right off.. if it dosent come out easy.. just regrip and pull harder.. it only has one clip.. but dont yank it off or you might rip yer wires lose...
as for the door handle.. if you mean the part that you use to open the door from the inside.. get one of those lil screwdrivers.. the kind that come in a lil plastic box with like 5 others... use the large flathead.. look behind the handle.. you will see a lil square.. on the top there is a lil slot cut out.. put a piece of tape over the end of the screwdriver.. cram it in the slot.. push down a lil and flick it out.. it should pop right out..then remove the two screws.. it will flop out a lil.. stick yer finger in behind it and flip the lil plastic piece off the lil metal bar.. dont worry neither piece will fall down inside the door.. and its easy to get back on...
if you mean the big handle you use to pull the door shut... get on yer knees and look at the side towards the front of the car.. theres also a lil slot.. just use a screwdriver to pop it out... thats how yer suposed to do it.. however its a pain in the ***.. the way most people end up doing it is getting a normal screwdriver wraping it in tape.. and at the front top around the top edge just cram the screwdriver in far enough to seperate the two pieces.. grab hold of it and yank like hell.. painting the lil piece around the window controls looks nice.. but unless you do the whole door i wouldnt suggest painting the piece that pops off..
dont forget to use paint made for plastic or it will flake off.. and 2-3 coats of clearcoat is best or it gets to glossy IMO
