Yeppers. They put a clearcoat over it so it can be treated like paint. Unless you got some super crappy CF part.

but can i wash it like just any other part right? cause i didn't spry clearcoat on it before i put it on.

You wouldn't need to spray any additional clearcoat on a carbon fiber part unless it was shipped to you in craptastic condition. If it's glossy you're pretty safe to assume it's been clearcoated.

CF has a special gelcoat. you can wash and wax it all you want.
it you goto walmart you can buy this stuff for cleaning fiberglass.
3M fiberglass cleaner.You find it in the boat section of the auto area. Its about $7-9 and works pretty good.

yup, mine is painted to match and it is absolutely perfect

my bodyman said that there were tiny holes in the gelcoat and he had to go and individually fill them in or it would look like **** when he painted it.

can you see the CF through it? at one of our ohio meets over the summer, we happened to come across another black 7thgen that wasnt in the meet and he had a CF hood painted black, but they did a shitty job painting it because you could see the CF through the paint.

no, the only time is if you are in the sunlight and if u catch it the right way, u can kinda see the weave pattern, but it looks great
