bad interior odor
bad interior odor
I went grocery shopping and I bought a small bottle of choclate milk. The milk rolled out of the bag and ended up underneath the carpet with the spare tire and I forgot about the milk. Fast forward two weeks and there was a really bad odor in the car. It wasn't until I had a flat tire and went to get the spare that I realized where the smell was coming from. What is the best way to get rid of this smell because I know by now it is in the upholstery. I try a few cleaners before I left out of town, but my sis says the smell is still there. Is there anything else I can try or should I just take it in to have the interior detailed/cleaned?

borrow a carpet cleaner from someone.. you mentioned yer sister so my guess is you still live at home.. if you dont know anyone with one theres a really good chance yer parents do... or just rent one from homedepot/grocerystore/uhaul.. they are like $20-40 a day
go to the store and get a carpet cleaning fluid and scrub and scrub or get the carpet cleaner... by the way how did the chocolate milk slip through and get underneath to the spare... that seems pretty hard but possible haha... good luck
