Rep Power: 0 AHH Bugs Killing my Paint!
You know how good black cars look when they're clean? Well, I can't seem to find out how good my 2001 will look with bugs on her! I've scrubbed and soaked them, but I can't seem to clean it off. Does anyone know how to remove stuck-on bugs/bug goo
(dried on by the sun) from paint, or is it a lost cause? Thanks!

Rep Power: 0 i use turtle wax bug & tar remover and it works great! just spray it on (for me the whole front bumper), let it sit for a minute or so. then... wipe away with microfiber towel. i do that every time i wash, and it gets rid of all the bugs, grime, dirt, etc...

Rep Power: 280 The only problem is when you have that residue that doesnt wipe off and seems to not have any texture to it like its sealed in, esp if you have waxed/zaino'd over it. That stuff is nearly impossible to get rid of.
For me the problem isnt bugs, its the crap the dam tree that overhangs my driveway drops on my car. It's mostly little tiny drops of sticky goo but also little dry ***** that look like peppercorns and bird kaka. I wash, it get dirty. I wash, it gets dirty.
Whata vicious cycle!
And needs a wash now more than ever, covered with some kinda sticky something headto toe.

Rep Power: 264 Heres a secret I learned recently. Take a laundry smell good static sheet and wet ur car and the sheet. THen just wipe with it. The bugs come off with ease. Even the bugs that were baked in. It got bout 90% of everything off my front bumper. I kno as well bout the pain of a black car. Try it out. I've done it 3x and it hasnt had an effect to my paint. Just be sure to get everything off afterwards.
Peace
