Alil Help
Correct, you don't want to wax the vehicle for 90 days after a paintjob. A great breathable product you apply on the fresh paint would be Meguiar's Mirror Glaze Speed Glaze (M8032). It's going to give you a great shine along with breathable protection. It can be applied by hand or machine. It's a professional product so it might be hard to find at your local auto parts store. Best bet would be to buy it directly from Meguiar's. Let me know if you're interested.
The only thing you can use for breathable protection is Meguiar's Speed Glaze after a paint job. After 90 days you can us any wax.

Don't worry about it the Speed Glaze it's breathable. It can be applied by hand or machine (Dual Action Polisher). It leaves your paint glossy and smooth. You apply just like a polish. Apply it section at a time. Work it in for about 30 seconds then wipe off as soon as it starts drying or there is a thin layer left. Runs for $14.99 for a 32oz bottle. I personally used it on my freshly painted mirrors and front lip.
