Rep Power: 0 I like the way the blue pearl stands out when the paint is polished right!
I finally got half of my car to look the way I want it. (I'll do the other half this weekend).
My process:
Wash
Clay
Polish/Compound w/ 3M FCRC (PC 7424 w/ Yellow LC pad)
Polish w/ 1Z PP (PC 7424 w/ Orange LC pad)
Polish w/ 1Z MP (PC 7424 w/ White LC pad)
Klasse AIO
Klasse SG
Maybe I can reduce the polishing steps to:
Polish w/ 1Z PP (PC7424 w/ Yellow LC)
Polish w/ 1Z PP (PC7424 w/ White LC)
I guess that's what detailing is all about, experimenting to see what works!
Note there's no Meguiars products in the process! I've found that the Einzett (1Z) polishes to be very user friendly.
Another thing I found out, I suck with a rotary. I'll stick with the Dual Action for now!
