waxing newly painted bodykit
is it bad to wax or wash a newly painted bodykit.....i get my bodykit back tomorrow newly painted and i was wanting to wax my whole car...would it be bad to do so?

I would ask your bodyshop what they recommend the waiting time is since it varies with paint manufacturers. But at minimum, I would wait at least 30 days to allow the paint to cure.

most of the times after getting a car painted, the shops will do some washing and waxing. Ask the person thats paintin the car, and also ask if they do wash and wax before they give it to u.

i would wait a few months and give it plenty of sun exposure so it will cue. you can wash it but dont wax it for a few months and try to keep it extremely clean. New paint is very sensitive to contaminants
