Post Big A$$ Water Spots!!!

I tried searching on how to get rid of the water spots on my roof, trunk and hood, but failed to find the answer...

See here in the desert after it rains the water dries in a matter of minutes so now I got about a quarter size water spots all over my ride lookin like a god damn jigsaw puzzle

I'm using the Meguiars Quick Detailer for months now and today I tried waxing it with Meguiars #9 but the water spots are still visible

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks!!!

Here's a link:

I had some nasty water spots from the sprinklers in my old apt complex. I used Meguiar's #2 Fine Cut Compound to remove the water spots. 3M's Perfect It Fine Cut Compound is another good choice. I followed it with #9 before waxing. Applied with a PC 7424.

#9 is more of a polish, you probably need a light compound.

You can read reviews on different products here:

Most compounds are best used with a machine, but some can be used by hand.

Re: Big A$$ Water Spots!!!

If it's been there for a while you might need to remove them by machine. Try using a pure paint cleaner. Any other questions hit me up.

i tried using the Meguiars #9 and after polishing the waterspots are no longer visible, but everytime i wash the car and wiped the water off the spots shows up again...

I bought a polisher yesterday and i'll try using the Meguiars #2 and see how it works....

Thanks for the help guys! appreciate it much!

The reason the spots keep coming back is because your applying just a cleaner/polish #9 (M-0916). You're gonna have to finish it off with a wax for protection. Try the NXT I highly recommend it. works awesome.
