Get Shine Back In CF Hood?

what is the best way to get some shine back in my CF hood without getting it recleared? it is kinda dull in some spots. also, there are is one spot where there is a little goo from tape that is left on it from something, it is not too noticeable, but how do i get rid of it without damaging the hood? thanks in advance for the help.

Goo-Gone will treat the gooey part up real nice.
But make sure you wax up the spot right afterwards.

As far as the shine goes, i usually use Meguiars Deep Crystal products, like the wax/wash/etc.

That seems to work for me.

nope, its just like what you do when your shaving your emblems, apply it on there, rub it off GENTLY, but with a little tough touch, and it should be "A" ok!

but make sure you apply a good amount of wax in the desired area.

3m adhesive remover will take it off as well. That is what I use all the time. To get the shine back just give it a good polish and top it with a sealer/wax.

bobbyd is also right, but watch it, those chemicals inside of the remover are possibly a little bit stronger than whats in the "orange" goo gone.

either way, do a good cleanup job, and your set.

About the goo try claying it. Should come off after several tries depending on how long it's been on the surface. About the paint being dull I would recommend on using a Dual Action buffer. Use Meguiars Dual/Action Cleaner(M8332) then finish it off with some Meguiars NXT Tech wax.
