Angry Help, black spots EVERYWHERE!

I didn't think it was possible that I would not be able to get something off my car. I have never before been stumped with a seemingly PERMINANT contaminant.

All forward facing surfaces of my car are covered in little black speck/bumps.
This includes the windshield, where i first noticed it. It has taken me an hour to clean the windshield with a clay bar.
Yes a clay bar, that doesn't even work so well. It takes around 20 concentrated swipes to make spots an an area of glass disapear.
Glass cleaner does nothing, alcohol does nothing, ammonia does nothing<<those i wouldn't even try on the paint.
but the clay bar on paint is almost completely ineffective!

My only guess is that it is some bizzar demon tar. How safe are those "bug and tar" cleaners? and how well do they work?

Ever tried a paint cleaner? Might be paint overspray or roofing tar. Is some one resurfacing their roof around your neighberhood? Meguiar's provides a few paint cleaners that might work.
Deep Crystal paint cleaner. A3016
Body Scrub paint cleaner A1016
Medallion paint cleaner. M9716

I would suggest Meguiar's clear coat body scrub. It will get anything off the clear coat without causing damage. Only thing is it's hard to find. I was spraying that undercoating under my wheel wells (basically liquid tar) and it got on the paint and some plastic. Well this cleaner took them right out when nothing else would.

i use the turtle wax bug & tar remover (yellow can) and it works great! it's worked everytime i've had to take something off when washing couldn't, not to mention it's clear coat safe!

You can use a clean razor blade and glass cleaner on your windshield or any glass other than your side view mirrors to get the black specks off.

On the paint, I would use a bug and tar remover, or Aftalyne. You can get Aftalyne at a home depot, or lowes, or any other hardware store.

Make sure you wash and wax the car after you remove the black specks, becuase the solvent will remove wax.
