when the heck do u wash ur car in this winter.....

i haven't washed my car in like a month. its been through 3 snows. then its gonna snow tonight plus more snow in two days, plus snow next weekend. theres like almost a layer of dry snow, dirt and crap all over it and on my body kit. i need to wash it for sure. i wash it by hand tho instead of at a car wash. anyone else have this problem or not being able to wash it? its been so cold and i might wash it later this week if it actually stops snowing. bad idea to send it through the car wash with teh kit on and all?

Find a touchless car wash and take it there. I usually hit one of those once a week.

If nothing else definitely rinse that road salt off your car. The salt can be devestating to paint and rims.

We had some shitty snowstorms up here and I broke down and washed my car 3 times in one week. I just can't stand the road salt and dirt. How can you let that stuff stay on your ride for so long? That's awful dude.

I got so sick of my car being dirty I ended up going to those self-serve car washes and did it myself last night. Yes I froze my *** off, since it was only 6 degress when I washed it, but the end result was well worth it.

I tried washing my car when it was like 30 out. It was fine till I was rinsing all the soap off so there was just water on the car. Next thing I know I had a layer of ice covering my car and the ground around it. and i was on an inclined driveway. I could not even get to my car I kept slideing down the driveway. Sucked ***.
Winter needs to go to hell so it can melt.

Damn, I have the same problem! lol. My car is extremely filthy, but it keeps snowing like every other day, so no real point in washing it. I havnt washed it in about 1 month, its filthy. I have dirty *** black water all over my rear lip, the side of my car is all nasty with white spots all over from snow and sald with a couple of bird dropings on it, lol. So far, they said it will snow tomorrow, and then again on thursday. So, I plan on taking it a car wash this friday. Ahhhh, when will this snow end!??!?! It just never seems to

I wash my civic at least once a week in the self wash, real men don't care how cold it gets (-5). Or as I was told; No brain no pain-No sense no feeling. Oh,and yea the doors do freeze shut.
