Question Windshield help?

I know my windshield gets little chips in it from rocks and stuff from driving on the freeway. That's just something I have to deal with. However, when I was driving the other day, the angle of the sun lit up my windshield and I actually saw how many little chips were in it. It looks like it got sandblasted. Spotted all over. Now that I see it, it bothers me...

Is there any way to get rid of the little rock chips in my windshield and possible prevent new ones from occurring?

yea take it to some kinda auto detailing shop or something or one of those rock chip repair people that be on the sides of roads and get the m to fix it!! so that they won't spread

My insurance allows me 3free rock chip repairs every year but they say that goes with any insurance that has full coverage!!

They're just little chips in the window, though. So I don't think I want to go to an insurance company. If you ever park under a tree, it looks like little spots of tree sap from the inside but it's not... I hoped it was though, because at least I could get sap off. Too bad.

I got the same deal from driving the gravel pit known as the 91 freeway. I jsut figure on replacing the windshield in a year or so.
