Water Spots On Windows
I HAVE SPOTS ALL OVER MY WINDOWS AND THEY DON'T JUST WASH OFF. THEY LOOK LIKE WATER SPOTS YOU GET ON YOUR CAR IF U DON'T WASH IT. hOW DO YOU REMOVER THESE?
OOOOO!!! Ouch bro! Did it get spriknler water on it? The happened to my friends 02 Avalon... Like it ate into the windows... His water was like super hard... What I am trying to say... Wash is really good... and if those spots are still there, my bet... you're screwed! Sorry. But I still think you're cool. Your car looks like mine!!!

try turtle wax professional auto glass cleaner. can get it at any auto parts store and use a soft cloth/microfiber towel. i washed my car real quit one time and never dried it and it sat in like 100 degree heat for a few days and i had some though *** water spots on the paint and windows. i tried that, a few cleanings and it was good as new. plus that stuff is the ****, drys nice with no streaks and is safe for tint too.
i have the same problem, on my old car, if nothing works (in my case it didnt) i just used steel wool (really fine, got it at Home Depot) to try to get the water spots out (though that tends to leave scratches on your car and that's why some places stopped using this method.) haha funny thing is i gave up and got a civic =D
haha me n my friends called the car the "Anti-clean"

Honestly, I don't think you can fix it... but if that stuff works... I am going to buy it... pour it into a milk jug, then seel it to my friend, and say I made this crazy stuff... and make millions!!! HAHAHAHA!!! I guess Turtle Wax is already one up on me!!!
i think they have been there a while but i noticed it really when i just got my windows tinted 5%. So the turtle wax stuff might work? any other ideas. Anyone else have this problem?

Try CLR on the them. I used it once and it made them look like new. It's for calcium deposits and other stuff that hard water leaves behind. A little scrubbing and they were gone. Of course I got them right back the next time I washed my car.
You should be able to find it at wal-mart, kmart, or maybe in the household cleaner section at your local grocery store.

vinager and water does work but dont use them on the tint side of the window. dont know if it is safe or not. and if u just noticed it once u got your windows tinted, could it be something inbetween the tint and the window?
i can tell it is on the outside side of the window (side without tint). it only shows better b/c now it has a black background. i'll try that clr since you have experience with it and it worked, if that don't do it then i'll get the turtle wax stuff, and if the don't work , then screw it. I ntoiced that my parent's cars have them too and they ar eall almost new.

ok now.... if you guys are talking about water stains... where you wipe the window and can see the "spots" dry up...
Go get a Comet cleaning pad (the steel wool one that slowly dissolves when you use it.) and Windex... Spray the window and "scrub" away...

moving to detailing forum.
Here are some ideas that you can try. I dont know if they were mentioned before, because I didnt read the whole post.
White Vinegar
Clay Bar
Goto A Detailing Supply Store and get Very Fine Brillo. Not SOS. This brillo is made for glass. You will soak the windows down with window cleaner and then rub the brillo over the glass, rubbing hard to remove the acid rain marks.

yeah, i used a clay bar and it got those annoying spots out.
i also agree with clr, that removes this type of water stain.

And then doesn't the acid water run down between your windows and your door panels and then start eating thru the metal beneath there?
I'd be too @nal about my car to use that.
