Just Wondering

I'm going to detail my car today.
After I wash it and dry it, will it make a difference if I put two coats of polish and wax.
Will it be the same finish with one coat.
I'm using Maguirs gold.

you shouldnt need to do two waxes...

try this:
paint cleaner
polish
polish
wax

ok....what will 2,3,4 polishes do, the more i put on......what will happen.
and what about the wax
