Rep Power: 0 Polishing And Waxing
I am just wondering what kind of polishes, waxes or whatever you guys use on your paint to make your car shine better than when you drove it off the lot?

Rep Power: 310 I wash my car with Meguire's Gold Class.
I have one of those AsSeenOnTV wax bottles that attach to your water hose (kind of like MiracleGrow) and just spray it on. I think it's called 'Jet Wash Car Wax'. I searched in 3 town and only one store had it. It works great and leaves a carnuba shine. No need to rub or anything.
And after wards, I have 3 cotton terry towels (just soft white towels). With the first towel, I pretty much soak up and get the water off. 2nd towel, I just dry any spots/runs left from the first towel. And with the 3rd towel I sort of polish the car with.

Rep Power: 310 by the way
for special jobs like when I debadged the trunk area, I used TurtleWax Polishing Compound. I use that for the spots where I do (heavier than normal) rubbing to get stuff off.
I can't stand applying wax though. I'd rather just spray it on.

Rep Power: 310 every other week. It depends. I'm practical and wash it only when she's dirty (excluding winter). Sometimes my car stays bearably clean for like a whole month. She has to be presentable to the public though.
