my paint job needs help!

i just painted the headlight cover myself. I put 4 layers of clear coat on it, but iti still wouldnt shine like the rest of the car. any suggestion on glaze or wax?

doesn't putting paint on the headlight make it less shinny?

no, i meant plastic covers that change the look of the headlights.
