my paint job needs help!

i just painted the headlight cover myself. I put 4 layers of clear coat on it, but iti still wouldnt shine like the rest of the car. any suggestion on glaze or wax? :_doh:

doesn't putting paint on the headlight make it less shinny?

no, i meant plastic covers that change the look of the headlights.
