I have a auto 02 civic that i really dont feel like trans swaping but i blew the motor and wanted to a put a diffrent motor im not trying to break the bank either so i was wondering if yall had some suggestions and all of the stuff im gonna need to put the motor in and it run stock with the new motor in it. (Current set up is for a d17a2 ) I do have intentions to mod this car but need it to be a DD for the time being

The only engine you can put right in is another d17a2.
you can put a k20 in there but you need to change a bunch of stuff

Go to your local JDM dealer for the d17 engine.
More than likely it will not be a D17A2, but something like a D17A....it's the same thing.
These engines have aprox 30-40k miles on them. My personal experience is that these engines are in great condition. That being said, do a complete gasket over hall along with a new water pump assembly just in case.
