New Turbo-Game Over

So yeah, I'm going to be picking this turbo up within a month or so. Along with a port and polish, install of my new cam and valvetrain upgrade, 3" exhaust, 750's and fuel pressure regulator. Shooting for a street tune for about 350 whp and a race gas tune for over 400 whp, yeah, game over. All I need to focus on afterwards is setting up a decent lsd for this tranny. I'm super stoked to be so close to hitting my goals...

Agreed, I thought my gt28rs is laggy! That **** is gonna take forever to spool, but it depends on his goal, For the track, its good choice, for the street, i would have gone GT2871r .64 a/r T3 for the quicker spool but

Guys its a ball bearing turbo which helps a lot for the spool, and with the right setup its gonna be sweet. Also think about this lag=MUCHO POWER no lag or little lag = Power. If there was a race with two 7thgens andy running this turbo someone else running dezods turbo, dezods turbo would pull cars on andy, but then when andys spooled he would pull busses so it evens out in the end and then some. This turbo is sweet. Good job andy can't wait to see all this done.

3076R. I saw this one comin. Decent turbo all together. Capable of 520-550HP and should prove lethal with your bottom end. BIG decision for you will be A/R. From Garrett directly, they only offer .63, .82 & 1.06 A/Rs for the turbine. I have other ways around this if you wanted to get a smaller A/R. Let me know when your ready.

My buddy's t3/t4 is very similar to mine with a standard oil journal on his d16. He makes 30 psi at 5600 rpm. I plan to spin the engine to around 8k or until it won't make any more power. I plan on about maybe 18 psi daily and around 25 on face fuel. I figure I should see full boost at around 5-5200 rpm with this turbo.
What you guys are failing to realize is that with the aem, I will have ZERO turbo lag when drag racing. With it, I can create boost while 2 stepping.

Andy, I have to say I am quite proud of all the work that you have put into your car. You also are very helpful to members on this site. Thanks for being around!

For a d17, breaking down that barrier will be a first. The reason I say game over is because once I hit that mark, I'm done with performance mods. And yeah, b18's can do it, so can k20's. How many sohc's can....?
