Rear Suspension Creaking
Rear Suspension Creaking
Hi All,
Hoping you may be able to help me diagnose this problem. I own a 2004 Civic. The rear passenger side has begun creaking loudly (it sounds awful). It only happens when I turn on a rise (e.g. turning right onto an incline). Call me crazy but it seems like the bitter cold has made it way worse.
Any thoughts?
Will

Re: Rear Suspension Creaking
Could be a worn mount, or the spring against the seat. If you have a rear sway it could be an end link.
Jack the back of the car up, put it on jack stands and then jack the suspected rear wheel up and down to see if you can pinpoint the sound. There is only a handful things it could be.
