Re: wheel hop

"Wheel hop" happens when your tires are spinning. http://www.mc2racing.com/tech/20061012a/
Are you making enough power and driving in such a way that you spin your tires every time you take off from a stop?

You may have clutch chatter.
Or maybe something else.

Re: wheel hop

That's VTEC kicking in!

It's probably your tires. What kind do you have? Round and black? Get a set if summer tires, no more traction problems.

Re: wheel hop

FWD cars in general aren't. Tourqe steer yes, different animal though. 4 x 4 trucks, yes wheel hop. If you really do have wheel hop problems you have something broke or bad out of line. Any chance you front end alignment is out of wack?
